I was thinking today that in addition to Bryce's family having unrealistically high expectations of her, perhaps she is about to be forced into an arranged marriage with someone she doesn't like, which adds to her need to run away.

That could make it more interesting. It wouldn't hurt to play with thte thoughts so I encourage it.

I just don't want it to seem like regular teenage drama that sends her running.

Well the marrige deal is not as common of a teenage problem especially in this age.

I figure since steam-punk is generally set in a victorian age, it would fit in with the theme.

Yes that is true, Good job I never thought of that one. It will fight if worked in right; I just can't wait till we start making good progress.

I think if we write a few paragraphs at a time until we get more used to working together, and until we have a more complete plot pieced together, it will make the first part go a bit more smoothly than if we just start chopping out chapters.

I figured we could kind of set up Bryce's family history before we need the other character...unless the third character happens to be the man that Bryce is being forced to marry?! Or has some other immediate relationship to the wedding!

It could quite possibly be anything. Copper could be the one suppose to marry Bryce, but he doesn't know and it is two different view points of the same spot and time periods. Then the third person could be someone else that is either intimate with Bryce or Copper. Yet, we could also do something else.

Well I figured if Bryce was starting in the Steam-Punk world, and Copper was starting in Atlantis, it would be difficult to have them married, but I guess if we play perception right it could work.

Well we do not have to have them married I was just saying that as an example.

I was just creating an idea. We could have had the characters in the real world and later fall into the new world through a wonderland style. They could then be easily chosen as mates with little knowledge of each other.

I suppose that would work as well, if it suits you. I am open to any ideas right now since we are still in the basic stages of setting up the first character.

Well I had actually thought that was what we were going to do. Yet, not so much. Its fine with me to do it anyway you want and or we want. We just need to make a decision.

I think if they were part of the same world, but from completely different areas, and then have the third character be the mysterious link between the two it would work best...that way we don't have them going between multiple worlds at once, but we also keep with the idea of the third character being in and out at strange times.

She may or may not thats why we pretty much need to make our own character. If she does come in then she can change the character up.
