Hmmmm..... I would say he runs away into the woods. He comes from a militeristic family so his ability to function in an untame environment is higher than most.

I am assuming that he ends up in the same steam-punk world as Bryce, correct?

I am going to say an Atlantian utopia is the best location. He gets there by a well within the forest center.

Unless you want to do it in the same world. I thought we were going to do different locations and they all merge in the end.

In terms yes. My world will collide with yours in an interesting fashion in which your people created. Which we will end up being within your world in the last 1/4 of the book.

Hows that sound?

Sounds good to me. It is going to take some work to bring everything together, especially depending on where our third character starts. Perhaps the world we end in could be underground...literally.

So in terms you are saying we create a 4th location for the last 1/4? That could create an interesting piece of work I guess.

I think we could go either way. It may be a bit easier to pull two characters to a place that already exists, but it might also be fun to put them all in a world where they know nothing.

Yes and if they are put within an unknown world it makes it all the more interesting. Each has their own views and styles so the way they walk and react to one another will be enjoyable, to say the least.

I agree. And I think putting them somewhere that none of them know can be symbolic in its own way, and give them a sort of special strength to work through their problems together, as opposed to one of them knowing everything and having an unfair advantage against their problems.

That is very true. The livelier and less predictable it is makes it so much more interesting.

Perhaps the third world could even be a world open to interpretation. For example, each character sees things in the world a little bit differently because they have experienced different things in their pasts. Seeing new things might be shocking to Bryce but not to Copper, etc.

Intersting... That is an idea we need to jumpstart out of all. The experiance of each character and the way they react to different stimuli is very see able in their own diversities. So haveing a world that is far from the natural in which experience differs to the characters past is very interesting. We would be createing a multi-plot Wonderland.

I got the idea from Robert Heinlein's Number of the Beast, in which they travel to multiple universes from other famous stories, and since they each read the story their own way, they saw the universes differently while they were there.

I think we can pull it off with a few little twists without seeming too similar to Heinlein...

Oh we will have our differences. My Anti-Hero style will bring that out! We just need to figure out a good introduction.

I have a type of begining that I would love to use, but it would be a bit difficult to set it up on this storyline.

Well, perhaps we can modify it a bit. Right now, anything is better than nothing.

Go to the intro thread in the same area as the general information or whatever. We can talk about the intros there of course.
